History
Since 1986, Community Projects for Seniors has provided meals and programs for elderly individuals without a family support system and mobility-challenged individuals over the age of 50 to improve the quality of their everyday lives.
We began by serving 100 meals on Christmas Day in 1986 and have grown to serve more than 12,000 free, hot holiday meals each year at 185 subsidized low income housing facilities in 7 southeastern Wisconsin counties. Contributions from individuals, foundations and the business community help us continue to enrich the lives of thousands of seniors each year throughout the Greater Milwaukee region.
Community Projects for Seniors was founded and incorporated in 1986 in Wisconsin as a 501 (c)(3) Tax Exempt non-profit charitable organization. Registered with the State of Wisconsin Dept. of Regulation and Licensing, No.417-800. Financial reports and other information available at www.drl.state.wi.us. State Exemption Certificate No. ES 37575. Officially incorporated as and registered in the name of Community Projects Committee, Inc.
